Two great wrestlers remembered

Professional Wrestling has been apart of my life since I was about 3 years old. I know a lot there is to know about wrestling. The good the bad and the ugly. I have witnessed injury after injury and watched some of the wrestlers I grew up watching die at early ages. Hell most were not even 40 years old. There are two deaths that are still taking me a lot to cope with. Those wrestlers are Owen hart and Eddie Guerrero. Two very loved superstars and two who didn't deserve to die so young. They both were very great preformers and entertainers in and out of the ring.
Let me start off with Owen Hart. He was apart of the legendary Hart family. He tragically passed away in May of 1999 at the age of 34. He was going into a pay per view event against The Godfather for the IC title. The one thing though about this match is he was called the blue blazer in this match because if I remember correctly Vince McMahon was mad at Owen because Owen wanted to leave the WWE for wCw to be with his brother Brett. So in punishment Vince put him back in the blue blazer gimmick. Now lets see the blue blazer entered the ring from the the rafters. Till this day I question was he pushed or was the cable rigged to snap? Or was it a tragic accident? This is just one of those death cases that will be in my mind for the rest of my life much like the JFK assination. Rest in Peace Owen. It has been almost 10 years since you were with us making at least me smile. Still to this day I think about you being gone and tears still come out of my eyes because you deserved not to die but to become a legend in the WWE you deserved the top prize the WWE title. Hell to me you deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.
The next person I have to speak about is the funniest guy to step into the ring. I doubt there will ever be anyone who could still hearts like he did. He made people smile. He was somebody special. That man's name is Eddie Guerrero. Eddie had his demons. He dealt with them. Yes he had a pill problem. He got over that. I believe he was 3 or 4 years clean from pills and yet it caught up with. He had heart failure. one thing that many of you may never know about is he almost died 9 years prior to this in a car crash. They say he cheated death. Then death caught up with him. To this day I still ask, WHY? He was 38 I believe and that still is way to early for any many to ever pass away. He was about to win the world heavyweight title. That never happened though because he never made it to the event. Let alone out of his hotel room. The one way I still look at it to this day is God needed somebody funny to entertain him because he was getting bored with everyone else. We all know there is one thing that Eddie will never do whether he is alive or dead. That is be funny. He probably had everyone in heaven having a good ol' time. God rest your soul Eddie. Any true wrestling fan loves and misses you.
With that said I hope I never have to witness another tragedy in the pro wrestling business. There was one incident since the death of Eddie and that was the Chris Beniot double murder and suicide. I will probably blog about that another time because no one knows what happened in that house in June of 2007. So I will dig up some more info on it eventually and write about it.
