That time of year...almost.

It is that time of year again where the nights become longer and we have our holidays approaching. This year it doesnt seem to bring the same smile to my face. I do not have enough money these days for this years christmas season. It is depressing that I wont be able to give my kids awhole lot this year. Right now I am actually looking for a job that would help me more than just by getting by with only the bills. My kids deserve to have a good christmas after all they go through just about every month at the doctors and or specialists. Hopefully this year we do have a holly jolly christmas. I believe there is a santa and he wont let me down.

Marion County smoking Ban

In the state of Indiana lies a county called Marion county. In this county alone they have banned smoking in resturants and many others places. They never did ban them in bars. Now they want to ban them in bars. I think that it is a total crock for them to do such a thing to us. Smokers have rights. I know the government wants to make the air better and safer for the people who live in this country, but we smokers have to have some rights dont we? What is going to happen to us next? Not aloud to smoke in our own house? I feel we are becoming a dictatorship and most of our freedom has gone away. The government should meet us in the middle in this bar thing. Maybe like how resturants use to do it they should have there own smoking or non-smoking section. The funny thing about this whole subject is I really do not go to bars in fact the first time I was in a bar was a little over a 10 days ago when my fiancee turned 21. I am almost 25 and feel that bars are not the place for me, but if I want to go to the bar I should be given the option to have a smoke with my beer. that is the best time to smoke I think whenever you have a good old cold beer in your hands.

Obama

Are we going to have a government who can say one thing and do it? I am glad we got the president we have now and many people believe that he is not the right choice for us because of his actions so far. The thing is that many of them do not realize is that things do not change over night. It takes years to recover from the mess the previous president had left us. This blog may be a short one but expect more from me later as I do intend to work on this subject a little bit more. Off to my other job.

2012 Fact or Fiction?

Some people tell me that December 21st 2012 is the day the world is coming to an end just because someone says it is and included it in their calender. It is hard for me to believe. I think that this just like Y2K was a ploy for publicity. I have done some reading on this day and thus far I have seen that the United States will have not one or two but five natural diasters on this day. Hard for me to believe. Hell tonight I saw an ad on TV for a movie called 2012. This is hard for me to believe. The world will come to an end when it is ready to come to an end. I dont think God will be here to take us on that date. Hell for all anyway knows he could show up any day before that particular day and take us to the high heavens if there is a high heaven or just life after death. None of us really know what is going to happen until it happens if you want my opinion. If you did not want my opinion you got it anyways for reading this. So take what you think and believe in this theory or not. Let me get your feedback on this subject at anytime you want to leave feedback because this topic really does interest me.

Two great wrestlers remembered

Professional Wrestling has been apart of my life since I was about 3 years old. I know a lot there is to know about wrestling. The good the bad and the ugly. I have witnessed injury after injury and watched some of the wrestlers I grew up watching die at early ages. Hell most were not even 40 years old. There are two deaths that are still taking me a lot to cope with. Those wrestlers are Owen hart and Eddie Guerrero. Two very loved superstars and two who didn't deserve to die so young. They both were very great preformers and entertainers in and out of the ring.
Let me start off with Owen Hart. He was apart of the legendary Hart family. He tragically passed away in May of 1999 at the age of 34. He was going into a pay per view event against The Godfather for the IC title. The one thing though about this match is he was called the blue blazer in this match because if I remember correctly Vince McMahon was mad at Owen because Owen wanted to leave the WWE for wCw to be with his brother Brett. So in punishment Vince put him back in the blue blazer gimmick. Now lets see the blue blazer entered the ring from the the rafters. Till this day I question was he pushed or was the cable rigged to snap? Or was it a tragic accident? This is just one of those death cases that will be in my mind for the rest of my life much like the JFK assination. Rest in Peace Owen. It has been almost 10 years since you were with us making at least me smile. Still to this day I think about you being gone and tears still come out of my eyes because you deserved not to die but to become a legend in the WWE you deserved the top prize the WWE title. Hell to me you deserve to be in the Hall of Fame.
The next person I have to speak about is the funniest guy to step into the ring. I doubt there will ever be anyone who could still hearts like he did. He made people smile. He was somebody special. That man's name is Eddie Guerrero. Eddie had his demons. He dealt with them. Yes he had a pill problem. He got over that. I believe he was 3 or 4 years clean from pills and yet it caught up with. He had heart failure. one thing that many of you may never know about is he almost died 9 years prior to this in a car crash. They say he cheated death. Then death caught up with him. To this day I still ask, WHY? He was 38 I believe and that still is way to early for any many to ever pass away. He was about to win the world heavyweight title. That never happened though because he never made it to the event. Let alone out of his hotel room. The one way I still look at it to this day is God needed somebody funny to entertain him because he was getting bored with everyone else. We all know there is one thing that Eddie will never do whether he is alive or dead. That is be funny. He probably had everyone in heaven having a good ol' time. God rest your soul Eddie. Any true wrestling fan loves and misses you.
With that said I hope I never have to witness another tragedy in the pro wrestling business. There was one incident since the death of Eddie and that was the Chris Beniot double murder and suicide. I will probably blog about that another time because no one knows what happened in that house in June of 2007. So I will dig up some more info on it eventually and write about it.
